I gave myself a pretty flexible budget this year, but I didn't want to buy a shirt for $35 when I can get it from a cheaper store for $10.
But, as I was perusing the sales rack at Macy's
LO AND BEHOLD
Skirts for $9.99!
-faint-
I got one in black, turquoise and a boho-y pink skirt with a feather/ belt.
Only $30-something total!!! -tear-
Then I went over to Old Navy's and nearly bought the whole store (Why don't I go there more often?!)
Long sleeves that can double as tops and under shirts were selling for 10 dollars!
And when I walking to the checkout line there was this pretty red shirt for $8 dollars!
Except I didn't see that it said XXL so now I'm bathing in it.
I need to go return it and just get a M or L, seriously, I'm not that big!!
Anyway, I should get back to writing my essays they're due next week!
So if you're in the Bay Area, swing by Macy's and pick up all the skirts you can hold!!!!

Awesome, I love a bargain, it feels so good.
I'm a bargain shopper myself, as well. I have to really be in love w/something to splurge. :)
I feel the same way about Old Navy...I usually don't go there, but when i get around to it, I'm generally pleasantly surprised.
I'm glad your school shopping was a success!
I live in the bay area & my mom works at Macy's. SWEET! :)
Mona: So good :DD
Nikki: Same here! I just got the hang of bargain shopping around the recession time too lol.
Anchor Girl: Really?! Cool! Do you go to MCA masjid or something :D But yeah totally go there and just go wild lol
I *rarely* go to MCA or any other masjid. I live in the East Bay so it's hard to get there, but also, a group of women (all family friend) get together to pray Tarawih at each others' homes. I do make it out there for speakers & events & stuff... maybe I'll run into you someday inshaAllah! :)
