When I saw this article on MSN Today, I kinda got freaked out.
I mean, if shaping one's eyebrows is haram, imagine the punishment on shaving off your eyebrows!!
Fashion is getting out of hand and if this is trendy... I don't want it O_O;

Yuck. My sister shaved her eyebrows off when she was 14 because she went through this phase where she thought they were ugly and looked like caterpillars. Grown women should know better. It looks hideous.

Habibti: Thanks for reminding me to mention that! The only photo which is real (I took out jessica alba's) is Whoopi Goldberg, she doesn't have eyebrows apparently.. whether she shaved them off or not I have no clue.

ReplyDeleteI don't think it's trendy at all not to have eyebrows and I don't know why anyone would do it. The only person I know without eyebrows doesn't have any naturally.
Makes me ask this question: If plucking them is supposed to be haram, would be it haram to paint them back in if you naturally don't have any?
